What is Edge-to-Edge quilting?
Edge-to-Edge (E2E) quilting is a continuous quilting design that runs from one edge of the quilt to the other, covering the entire quilt top uniformly, regardless of blocks, seams, or piecing designs.
These designs are created using computer-guided digital patterns, allowing for precise stitching and customization. Patterns can be adjusted in scale and density to achieve the perfect look for your quilt.
E2E quilting enhances quilts with beautiful texture and is available in thousands of designs, including vines, flowers, feathers, and geometric shapes. It’s an excellent choice for achieving a consistent, professional finish while keeping costs affordable.
Batting Options
We carry Warm & Natural and Toasty Cotton batting, but you’re always welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Batting
We proudly carry Warm & Natural and Toasty Cotton batting, known for their high quality and excellent quilting performance. Through experience, we’ve found that some batting brands don’t quilt as well, often resulting in inconsistent stitches and subpar results. That’s why we carefully select only the best batting to ensure your quilts turn out beautifully.
However, if you have a preferred batting, you’re always welcome to bring your own!
Pricing
E2E patterns are continuous designs that run from the top to the bottom of the quilt. All all-over patterns are priced at $0.02 per square inch, with no additional charges based on pattern selection.
Custom quilting starts at $0.06 per square inch and increases based on the complexity of the design.
Please note that all of these services are optional and only apply when requested or required:
-
Custom Pattern Fee – $20
If you request a design/pattern that is not currently in our library, there is a one-time fee to purchase and set up the pattern. -
Special Thread Charge – $10
Our standard thread selection is included in your quilting price. If you request a specific thread color outside our standard options, there is an additional charge. -
Pieced Back Alignment – $20
If your pieced backing requires alignment with the quilt top, we charge an extra fee due to the complexity of this process. While we take great care, perfect alignment is not guaranteed. -
Non-Cotton Backing Surcharge – $10
Backings made from fleece, minky, or snuggle fabrics are excessively stretchy, requiring extra time and attention to prevent folds or tucks. These materials may also limit pattern choices. -

If you need your quilt shipped back to you, shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
